Some real estate associations offer sold dates as a field that can be set on their listing service entries. In that case, since we obtain dates directly from the listing service, if that sold date is inaccurate, it will be reflected on your website.

In Canada, as a matter of legality and privacy, most real estate boards don’t provide sold information. In those cases, we wait until a listing stops appearing in the data feed provided by the board. We record the date when that happens, and use it as an ad hoc sale date. Since it can take a few days for an MLS® to update their listings, and for us to receive those updates, the date we record may be different from the official sale date.

If a sale date is inaccurate, we’re happy to change it for you, just drop us an email at: help@avenuehq.com
