What is Calendly?

Calendly is the modern scheduling platform that makes it easy for the people who visit your website to book a meeting or call with you anytime and anywhere!

Calendly securely integrates with your calendar or scheduler to create a personalized booking link. Through this link, clients and customers are taken to a simply designed calendar with all available times and dates a meeting can be booked with you. Once a meeting time is selected, you will receive a notification about it and an event will be added directly to your calendar. By allowing your clients to book their own meeting with you, Calendly takes the guesswork out of scheduling and allows you to focus on what’s important in your day.

Need to reschedule a meeting? Rescheduling is just as easy as scheduling. With a single click, all meeting attendees are sent a notification with the ability to select a new time and date!

Have different meeting types? No problem, Caldenly allows you to easily create different calendars and booking links based on your needs. Create different calendar links for 15-minute introductory calls for new clients, links for hour-long consultations over zoom, or any other meeting type and length that suit your business needs!

Having a busy day? Calendly allows you to easily set limits on the number of meetings that can be scheduled in a day, allows you to limit your business hours, or even block off whole days from your availability.

Calendly also integrates with many online platforms and apps to allow for seamless connections to your favorite calendars, payment portals, tools, and apps. Calendly can integrate with your email or phone number so you receive booking notes and notifications for upcoming events. How It Works:

As a feature of your new website, Avenue will help you create an account, provide you with the login information, and link your Calendly booking links to your website to allow potential clients to easily book calls, meetings, and other events directly in your calendar.

If you would like a Calendly booking link integrated into your Avenue website, there are two options for signing up based on your needs:

Self Sign up:

If you have more in-depth scheduling needs, such as the inclusion of a cancellation policy, taking payments or deposits with booked meetings, requirements around how close together meetings can be booked, or have several different event types or lengths; we recommend you set up your account. This will make it easier to create, customize and manage your booking links.

Simply sign up for a free Calendly Account here: https://calendly.com/ and send Avenue the booking link or links you would like integrated into the design of your new website!

If you have simply meeting needs like booking phone calls or client meetings, the Avenue team will be happy to help you sign up for a Calendly account and create booking links for your website. After the account has been created, it will be your to keep and manage yourself!

All we need are:

• Contact Information like email and phone number

• Calendar For Integration to connect your booking with your personal calendar

• Event Types, Durations & Names for each meeting link to be created, it’s best to limit this to 3 different meetings at most

• Platforms you would like your Calendly account to integrate with such as Zoom for a video conferencing location

• Description or Instructions for the different events, as this will be sent as a message to clients who book an event!

Remember, each meeting type and meeting duration will have its own calendar and link, so to reduce complexity for your clients, we recommend going with fewer meeting links or a total of 3 different meetings.

When we have created your Calendly account and booking links, we will add them to your new website. Once your account has been set up, it will be yours to keep!

If you ever remove links from your Calendly account or create new ones, they can easily be updated on your website. Just reach out to the team on live chat and we will be happy to help.
