How to Create a Post on Your Business Page

  1. Log in to Facebook and navigate to your Business Page.

  2. Click the "Write a post…" field at the top of your page's timeline.

  3. Type your message.

  4. To include a link or image, paste the URL or upload a photo directly into the post field.

  5. Click Post when you're ready.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • It counts as your weekly post. AvenueHQ posts one piece of content per week on your behalf. If you've already posted yourself, that counts as the week's post.

  • Stick to authentic content. Real estate news, local events, personal milestones, and community stories tend to perform best.

  • Avoid posting duplicate listing content. AvenueHQ already handles new listings, solds, price reductions, and open houses automatically — no need to post those manually.

Troubleshooting

I can't find the "Write a post…" field.
Make sure you're viewing your page as an admin, not as your personal profile. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner of Facebook and select your Business Page name to switch.

My post isn't getting much reach.
This is normal — Facebook significantly limits the organic reach of Business Page posts. Consistent weekly posting and engagement-focused content (questions, local topics, polls) helps over time. Contact us if you'd like to discuss a paid ad strategy.

I accidentally posted something I want removed.
You can delete posts directly from your Business Page. Click the three-dot menu (•••) on the post and select Delete. Or email help@avenuehq.com if you need help.
